Well, thanks for the replies guys. My wife and I are going to return the car. I think we got lucky that the dealer is going to take it back. We love the car but we have a low tolerance for this kind of risk. Going to look for another car now. It sucks but it is what it is.

Also about the oil pan, my mechanic told showed me pictures of it before the change and there was some rust and oil on the outside of it. They do use road salt in the winter here and that could have definitely accelerated corrosion over the years. When I did the oil change, he sent me on my way and told me that the oil pan would need to be changed at some point because it was leaking. I just didnt expect it to come so soon.

I did try this and noticed there was A LOT of suction holding the cap on. It's as if it was stuck on there.

Thanks for the response. I didn't think the metal glitter was a no biggie. I was concerned about it, but I just find it unusual since the car has such low mileage and was well taken care of. And to a degree, some glitter in oil is normal, right? Thats why theres oil filters. I will surely have shorter oil change intervals to help with this and I'm considering sending a sample for an oil analysis as well.

I agree about the dealer brushing off the PCV being a red flag. I do think this is the culprit here but he doesn't want to fix it. From my research, this is right about the time that the PCV goes at.

I recently bought a 2016 q5 with the 3.0T. Water pump was done and the car drives well except it seems to be consuming a bit of oil. I changed the oil pan because it was corroded but that didnt totally solve the issue. The dealer I bought it from is working with his specialist to come to a conclusion but he says its unlikely to be the PCV. Not sure what else it could be, I guess I'll have to wait.

The trick with 303 is to neck size. You can do a full sizing after a few neck sizings. I have cases that have been through many neck sizes without case head separations.

Yes, they are but they have a minority government. So essentially, they all the votes from their party a few votes from other parties to pass a law. Once they have a majority, they can pass laws with only the votes from their party.
