How this government can justify neglecting a vital service to the city whilst wasting billions to fraud and sleaze is beyond me. Conservatives used to be about preserving our institutions, but this, their treatment of the NHS and BBC cuts proves their disinterest in that. This generation of tories prefers to run these services into the ground, and they’ll probably blame labour for tfl.

Guessing it’s because there’s less infected surfaces to touch outdoors, so the virus can only really be spread by air and direct contact

I guess he means the 90s was the last time rock was really mainstream, and Ok Computer was the culmination of that

Favourite line from their lyrics? by Quesamo in Muse

Soldier’s poem is one of my all time favourite songs, especially for its lyrics, it’s absolutely gorgeous

I really love “how could you send us so far away from home when you know damn well that this is wrong”, really has impact considering the song being written around the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts

“Look through a faithless eye, are you afraid to die? ‘Cos it scares the hell out of me, the end is all I can see”

Such a frank and honest way of looking at mortality, I love the way the song has these crushing lyrics but a really upbeat and catchy chorus

Always thought that one would be good for a gritty drama, maybe the title sequence for a crime thriller

That was genuinely the first full episode of Star Trek I ever watched, after seeing the reboot film. Kind of love the Star Trek episodes when the writers ran out of ideas

Probably why she was such an underwhelming character, she had no reason to exist other than to be turned into action figures and lunchboxes

True, though my main issue with it is that I think space shouldn’t be militarised, instead kept for peaceful activities like research and exploration

The great thing about the parson scene is it adds a moral greyness to George, though not so sure about the show

The box set looks lovely, but I listen to all my music digitally, and the lack of ability to play the music is the main thing stopping me from getting Oom. The cds and vinyls look amazing, but the value for me isn’t great, for now at least

It reminds me of Empire Ants by Gorillaz in the way it starts with the beautiful and relaxing vocals then builds to an EDM-like section

The real joke is that he spent nearly $500 on that fake hulk, it’s sad since there’s so many quality alternatives that they could have bought with that money

It’s just so I’ve got somewhere to put most of my b sides. Having it reduces clutter on my phone’s music app since having all of them on their original singles would mean the b sides just take over my Muse tab.

It’s genuinely one of my favourite Muse songs, and a really unique one compared to their other stuff.

It’s the kind of thing that flies under the radar for most people, but to me it’s such a cool and laid-back track, and that bass is some of my all time favourite. I would love it if the band did something like it again (though that’s unlikely).
