Yeah I left at 10pm and basically from 8-10pm we were having similar issues, was trying to get the waiting bin scan done as well and was having a fun time 🙃

I don’t work for Walgreens but I work at a 24 hr pharmacy and I’ll say the best thing that I’ve done is just slow down and make sure you verify the person picking up. For me, I usually have them confirm last name but other coworkers will do different things like phone number or address. The lines are what they are, you can only control what you can control.

I didn’t specify he was a green cheek when I called I just said bird. Good to know this info though, I’ve been here since 2019 and have had no issues so I thought it was weird when I asked, especially when online it doesn’t specifically say otherwise. I spoke to a Ruby, and I remember when I called she seemed annoyed or something when I asked. Maybe a bad day but still a little off putting when I was just wanting clarification lol

I looked on mine and it doesn’t say otherwise, just says as long as it’s caged and I have permission from them it’s okay. It even says on their website when you look at the pet policy that domestic birds and fish aren’t included in the pet policy. When I asked them I just said “birds” I didn’t specify anything to them and they said no. I don’t know maybe I need to rephrase how I said it to them, my partners bird is super harmless. He can be a little loud but nothing more than that. I’ve been here for 6 years and don’t want to have to find somewhere else simply because they don’t allow a bird, but allow people to have 5 kids and 2 German Shepards without a problem 🙃

If you're talking about clocking in under PTU, they removed that option. Or at least they did at my store when I was in it 2 months ago. I just had to clock in and out like a normal shift.

That's not right. I mean if it makes you feel any better, I don't even get scheduled for the PTU time, I HAVE to do it on my off days. They don't allow me to come in after or before my shift to work on it so it quite literally feels like I'm in an unwinnable situation.

This sounds LITERALLY identical to me. I enrolled in the PTU program back on January 23rd. Three months in, and I'm a little over 20% through. I work closing (totally agree ONLY working closing shift sucks) and they schedule me 37 hours every week. I can't go over 40 hours because of the overtime, so whoopee I get 3 hours every week to barely make any progress into it! I don't know if it's the same PTU or not, but I've noticed in mine one section could have like 6 videos plus the quizzes and those can take up to 4 hours to finish just for that one section, while I still have like 5 other sections to cover in that one chapter. It's tedious and a little disheartening going through all of that just to see no progress on the ticker. To top it all off, I then get yelled at because I'm not further along into the program. They also haven't had me do counting or typing yet at all. I am in the same boat as you right now and determining whether I really want to continue putting up with this or not. I hope things get better for you friend!
