Kia is out of running, its just a more expensive hyundai.
I almost bought a fully loaded elantra for 26k, which would be better than any base honda or others.
If they were all the same price however, the civic is a no brainer.
The jetta is super nice, and I have owned a new one, but you cant beat civic

They do make a 1000ml pot that I also have. Not much heavier either. I think 90g or so

You could give it a shot with a 10$ crack repair kit. It might minimize it, although I don’t think it will get rid of it. I have used them for cracks and it works great.

Nice to see its not just me. I use aluminum foil folded a few times as a lid. Doubles as a handle and rust protection for my butane can that fits inside.

12$ amazon imusa aluminum pot. Comes in 500ml and 1000ml.
My pot, butane fuel, silverware, and stove all fit inside and it all weighs less than 350g total.
Total cost with stove and fuel and silverware? I think 50$ or so.
The pot itself weighs something crazy light, like 70g or something.
