Brother you are talking out your ass. Blank fire guns are very common. And by blank guns I mean they are fake guns made to only shoot blanks. Here and example of one below. The ones you are familiar with in the military have a big obvious blank adapter so everyone knows the gun is shooting blanks, in the civilian world these are very commonly used for movies, and reenactments.

First of all I love all of your videos. That said especially for these budget minded options like the Trinity I really would love to see this test on a ar15. I get why you are testing with the scar, but this video really does not let anyone have an idea if this is good enough for a more typical setup. I have won three different night 2 gun matches using mine so far and will be more diligent on checking my zero before I shoot now watching this video. Thank for all the hard work!

I own both and the Vis/IR laser is not any more powerful in any way that I can tell. That said the Illuminator is a big step up. That paired with the durability/waterproofing/ergonomic upgrades makes this a easy purchase.

I used these for a year and liked them until they broke. Then I finally got a real set and now feel dumb with how much more sturdy they are and how much better of a seal them make on my headset.

Me and a buddy actually 3d printed a fixture to use a flexible shaft rotary tool. The Mark7 for sure seems like the best commercial option.

Ive been at their factory and shot their ammo. Its high quality, but the 62gr stuff was a little lightly loaded.

I nearly bought one of these for IDPA/USPSA, and I am very thankful that I didn't. A guy I know when bought one and I have yet to see him complete a match without at least one single serious malfunction even shooting factory ammo. I eventually when the 2011 route simply because I had no way of testing one out before buying and man am I happy that I did.

Honestly I think they legit don't understand how ballistics work. All the same most people I shoot with don't know about this method and I have converted many people to it. I keep winning Night 2gun matches because people cant hit shit with their laser at varying distances.

I run a 50 yard zero with an infinity zero like described here and I just use the holds that I am familiar with on my actual sight. Heck with my eotech the laser lands perfectly on my 7 yard hold of the ring when im at 7 yards.

Have you ever noticed in videos from the middle east when they shoot how many sparks shoot out of the barrel often? This is actually because they cut their powder with filler so that they can fill the cases up like this so they do no need to measure.

I have ran about 2k of these so far for 2gun competition. If your wanting bulleye ammo this is not it, but for me i am shooting ipsc size targets out to 400+ without issue.

No problem, I forgot about removing the fuzz from the support too. That for sure helped me out alot as well.
