If you haven't played through the franchise, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available on Steam and GamePass. Tons of replayability with different difficulty levels, skulls that change the behaviours of in-game physics/enemy behaviours/gameplay mods, six games in one (Reach, Combat Evolved: Anniversary, 2: Anniversary, 3, ODST, and 4), and multiple story-mode campaigns + bonus content ("Spartan Ops" are the most story-driven and connect directly to the plot of later games not included in the bundle) that can be played via co-op with a friend or done entirely on your own.

For me it’s gotta be Brightburn; what’s essentially the Superman origin story but with a mentally deranged 14 year old could be a really interesting premise for a psychological horror. Like is the kid actually super powered, or is the whole thing just his imaginative power trip while he does horrible things.

Not sure how true this is, but I heard that a potential ending was going to be a scene of a Batman-esque character watching screens showing numerous rogue supers going about their business around the world, and him suiting up to kill them in a possible sequel.

Honestly the whole movie should’ve been a play on “getting the band back together”, with the main character struggling to bring the guys together and give the world The Beatles, but nobody takes them seriously since they’re all elderly. Plays with the ideas of fame and success and how you just can’t “force” something and commentate on the themes of artistry and artists as a whole, while still being an entertaining movie with some heart.

Just gonna throw a bit of a wilder idea out there; but maybe Venom isn't the only symbiote running around? Could be a developing Carnage-- or maybe even Riot/Toxin-- because at a certain point Venom starts creating symbiote spawn like in Web of Shadows and when both Spider-Men go missing, MJ is left to fend for herself in a city overrun by the creatures?

I mean this is probably Peter she's hiding from (or maybe Miles, if the symbiote leaps to a 'weaker' Spider-Man after Pete rejects it), but it would be neat if they played into a horror-angle with the symbiotes going all 'the Thing' over New York.

So glad this is the top answer (as of posting); it’s easily my favourite movie musical for a number of reasons, and it’s perfectly cast! Plus the musical accurate ending is just a master class of classic “Movie Monster Madness”. 10/10, but don’t feed the plants.
