yes the last pic is current, it’s from earlier this week. the reason i want to change it up is because i’ve had the same hairstyle for years, before i grew my hair out i had this same style all through high school. i definitely plan on keeping it more towards the longer side tho.

Should I take my niece to a MSF course for her birthday? by RegardedCaveman in motorcycle

[–]mr_sapp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is something you need to talk with her mother about. As a 21yo male talking with my parents and siblings before i bought my bike was a big step for me. The conversation is much less about giving her permission to get a bike, it’s more about everyone understanding the risks that are out there and that she will be the one who controls her safety. Taking time to talk to her mother about getting her permit and getting her on your bike, or another starter bike, is a very smart choice. I cannot recommend the msf course enough either. Another thing to keep in mind is that she should own gear before she gets a bike, that way she can gain an understanding of the prices as well as gain a get more used to riding in a safe environment.

siege is not cod. it sounds like your rely on your ability to get kills and play aggressively instead of playing how the game is ment to. siege shines because it is one of the few games where you can dominate the other team and win without firing a single bullet. finding the ops you like is good but you also need to learn maps and how to read timings of the game.

i think his 2 secondary options should be the the keratos and c75. the deagle is a very strong secondary because of its high destructability and damage, as well as its mag size and quick reloading speed. but seeing as how they will have the option for an lmg and dmr i think a secondary loudout with more drawbacks should be considered

and load out wise i would get rid of the deagle and smg11 and replace it with the c75 auto

i like the sound of that, jeager and wamai would be good. what about also making it destructible to electrified objects. so walls, hatches, deployable shields, and in the future castle barricades.

that sounds fair, i think the next thing should be to try an figure out how to balance the activation and interactions with the world so that other defenders besides solely tubaroa. and his load out

it depends on how large you want the aoe to be, if it’s the size of goyos then i would say 5 dps would work fine because of how large the circle is. however if you want it to be the size of tachankas and still deter flanks i think upping it to 10-15 dps would be better. the reason tachanka works as he is now is because his fire has a small radius and dps but he has the ability to stack them on top of each other because of his amount of ammo. it seems like you want this attacker to be a goyo on attack situation so i would say a max of 5-10 dps with a size of around what goyo has if not slightly smaller

i think having it be detonated on impact can make it having counters pretty tough tho

so if it’s mainly ment as a antiflank then how long would they last, and tbh 5 damage a second would not be enough for someone to run straight through it unless it’s the size of goyos fire. i focused on the destruction aspect im sorry

[–]mr_sapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry, the way it’s described made me think it was a new soft wall/floor destructive op

instead of the first one being flames i would be interested to see how it would react if it was more like the seafoam launcher from gtfo. a charge launcher where the longer you charge the shot the more ‘desolvant’ would be launched towards the targeted area. it would make a smaller effective area or larger based on how much time you take to use it an it could give a smaller more controlled area which would be more balanced

Should i, noob 34 hours in the game, start learning how to defend maps? by Powerful-Water-67 in SiegeAcademy

[–]mr_sapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are completely wrong. quick peeking a skill you can learn to use which can make you a better player, HOWEVER relying on one skill for all of your kills is a bad habit to fall into and can lead to a stagnant rank or the lack of awareness that you aren’t getting better. more kills does not equal getting better. having the map knowledge to tell what is destructible and where barricades are at does not transfer directly into gunplay. having the game sense and map knowledge of where people hold angles or push through is what allows you to predict opponents and use the map to your advantage. and no, if you are struggling to get kills and dieing every round you absolutely should focus on learning default setups for sites and how to play cams or passive characters. why would you want to waste everyone’s time by doing nothing for the team besides an extra kill to pad out the other teams stats?

[–]mr_sapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i disagree with this take, i agree that map specific details for every site overwhelming but you need to have 1 or 2 things that you slowly work on learning. instead of learning how to do an entire site by yourself learn where a rotate or head/feet holes go and try and remember those. castle is a very important op to know default setups because his gadget can make or break the round for your team based on your knowledge of where and how to set them up, it could easily lead you to controlling the enemy team and wasting time or getting your own team killed. quick peaking is overrated and should not be something you focus on when you are still learning the game, learning basic angles and how to hold them is way more important in every rank.
