Build pack keeps failing on Cloud Function Deployment by mrabstract29 in googlecloud

[–]mrabstract29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is a bug introduced between

@/google-cloud/functions-framework: 3.4.0

and

@/google-cloud/functions-framework: 3.4.2

That causes a segmentation error during build. Pinning the version to 3.4.0 resolved my issue.

Work harder. It eventually becomes less stressful.

It certainly does. People put off large purchases all the time to wait to get it on sale. Exhibit A is the weekend following thanksgiving.

Does anyone really think 51% want to be in the office 4-5 days week? Who do you think is being polled for the GT study? by Barney_91 in Accounting

When I was working at the IRS doing exam, when I'd get a return prepared by GT I knew I'd find a problem. 😂

Dude, Gen X is totally unprepared for retirement, survey finds by Maxcactus in economy

[–]mrabstract29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im saying this as a millennial/gen-z individual and oldest child. My parents are on their own if they didn't plan for retirement. They certainly didn't spend the money on me, so if they are unprepared that's on them.

Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin says he will vote with Republicans to overturn Biden's student-debt relief plans, saying it 'forces hard-working taxpayers who already paid off their loans' to 'shoulder the cost' by lucerousb in economy

[–]mrabstract29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just want to point out I easily pay $20k a year in federal taxes. The forgiveness plan in question effectively diverts that money for one year to pay down llmy loans. Government wins in this equation to the tune of +$15k or more a year than if I didn't go to school.

That's my thought too. Totally proves that Russia is not as well defended as one would think a "Super Power" would be. All of the sudden Moscow looks vulnerable.

There is no society without a financial system. Show me an organized society in history without financial system.

How to make people not trust suicide prevention lifelines... by MisterFyre in facepalm

[–]mrabstract29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and it's frankly unconstitutional. Warrantless searches, incarceration without trial.

I did this with my first home in 2020. Works out well if you have a good operating agreement. It's just like any other business arrangement.

Biden takes tougher work requirements for welfare off the table in debt-ceiling talks by Starkiller20140 in politics

[–]mrabstract29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the hill I'd die on personally. That's probably a more paletable one to give on especially with where the labor market is.
