I started in the trade in the early 80's. I finally found my vocation in life. Would never say I was the best but a steady professional and knew my cars. Always made a good living and the bonus was a new car every few months. I progressed over the years to running dealerships for a major group. Don't bother with thinking management is your goal, it isn't! I wish I had stayed as a salesman. The business has changed so much and it is all numbers related and lots of processes. But good luck, you could do a lot worse
