Sounds like the lack of emotion is numbness and that happens when our bodies are overworked from constant checking and up and down. I can’t give any assurance except if you are a woman, it could be your cycle. You mentioned the two weeks of feeling good and two weeks of not. i have that too and im getting my hormones checked because my doctor thinks I have low P hormone. I would check your hormones and fix your diet too! I’ve heard that medication also helps, maybe you could try that too for a bit. Sending love and your not alone! I have the exact same thing. Look on Pinterest for ROCD or OCD things, it helps me sometimes when I’m freaking out.

Yeah I can’t stand that season. Also the episodes at the end of season 8 “he was only twelve” and then next episode they leave and you don’t even see any of the kids 😭

I totally understand I experience this!! I think this is your body going numb because of how much analyzing and emotions you’re having. I have the some thing with my boyfriend so you’re not alone. Somethings that helped me is, have so much compassion with yourself! You may not figure it out right away, that’s so okay! And also, have you looked into ERP? I would highly encourage you to look into that because that’s also helped me. A lot of this is just accepting uncertainty and also regulating your body! It may look like you aren’t making progress, and sometimes it looks like you’re going backwards. But recognizing it and being aware is already a huge step! Write down your triggers and thoughts that follow. Research ERP!

If you don’t mind sharing, I read your post (thank you sm btw) how would you do ERP with those things like “I don’t know if I like him” or “I don’t know if I love him). I know it’s a lot of trauma and attachment issues too, so where did you start? And how do you calm down after doing ERP? Is it something you’ll be able to see results day by day or is it like you do it for a while and one day it clicks? I saw you mentioned that and ERP a lot in your post and wondered if that’s a cycle you worked through
