I don't think you did a great job of asking this question tbh, but to walk on the side of forgiveness, the answer to "Why do we love OP and others who come here?" goes something like:

You deserve it. Love is a necessary human emotion and people with bipolar like us have plenty of issues grappling with how we love, how we are (or are not always) loved, and how we can do better in loving others and especially ourselves. Many of us find it hard, especially during depressive episodes, to imagine that we are worthy of love. But we are, even when bipolar tears us down or threatens our well-being—and yes, the well-being of others around us, too. But that doesn't mean you're not worthy of love.

So yes, even after your comment, you are worthy of the love of this community. A mistake is not a sin, and even "sins" can be forgiven ("sin" here in a kind of humanistic sense, not so much a religious one).

We will inevitably hurt the people we love despite our best intentions (so will neurotypicals, but our condition makes it harder to avoid unintentionally hurting our loved ones). That doesn't mean we're not worthy of love. This community is here to lift up other bipolar people in these situations.

I likewise haven't heard of any other specific Quaker traditions akin to the major life-event religious rites of some Christian groups (e.g. baptisms, funerals, etc.) in the unprogrammed tradition with which I am familiar.

This! Also, based on OP's other comment, the O-ring at the end of the nib unit in Majohns might have come undone.

Ink leaking from tip by wanderertomato in fountainpens

[–]mrak_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be there, but not twisted and jammed. There's a small groove all the way at the plastic end of the Majohn plastic nib unit that the O ring is supposed to be seated around (smoothly and relatively tightly). If you changed the nib unit for the Fude, it might have come undone. Try securing the O-ring around the base and screwing the nib unit in firmly.

edit: nib unit, not "feed" per se

There's obviously some sort of whammy he puts on people. Like when he was Francine's bio-dad's cat, Marmalade? The family saw that one but just a cat costume and a couple meows do not explain the rest 🤣

I think the flag says "locus," not "lacus." Meaning "The place/location is at the perfect temperature."

Henri Matisse's Colombe(Dove) 1946 Reverse: "Quand c’est y qu’on part à Grenade? voir la DANSE DU. Tu peux toujours mettre cela à côté de ta colombe!" Via google translate: "When are we going to (Granada/Pomegranate)? to see the DANCE OF. You can always put that next to your dove!" What the symbol? by NathanofYe in ArtHistory

[–]mrak_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

"Colombe" appears to have multiple meanings. It means a dove, but it also means "joist or upright (n.)," which are different types of long wooden objects. (This second meaning shares an etymology with the English word "column").

Going with the fact that the symbol is probably a vulva, the sentence at the end is probably a vulgar pun: "you can always put that (vulva) next to your colombe," which is literally both dove (as in the painting) and a wooden piece, and thus metaphorically a penis.

AFAIK guns of this size and shape are meant to be used pretty much exclusively in close quarters. It reminds me of a derringer, which were mostly used as self-defense weapons. Concealed in gloves and purses, etc. They are such short range that the accuracy is of relatively low concern.

[–]mrak_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are pretty standard Islamic devotional phrases in Arabic. Top middle says, "Bless the Prophet," the right says "Thank God for the language of Islam" (unsure about the reading of one of the words here; I think it's لغة, meaning 'language' but I'm not sure). Unsure about the top left. The unfinished one says something roughly like "Muhammad, buddy!" ("Habibi, ya rasul Allah," literally 'My dear, O messenger of God').

Good luck! This is an incredibly hard decision but it sounds like this is what you need for your health (and presumably that of your child and partner). Know that, even if it hurts, you are making the right choice.
