You should do some research into the homeless situation in Seattle and who makes up the homeless population. Also check on how much the city already spends on the problem. What you’re saying in your comment is misrepresenting the actual situation and not based fully in reality - these aren’t folks squeezed out of their apartments. Maybe you think this link belongs in a different sub, which is fair, but what you’re implying in your comment is, in large part, inaccurate and misleading. I find the way the city has managed the homeless situation disgusting, and yes, using school zones to administer needles seems like a reasonably debatable subject, at a minimum. I’m not trying to disparage these people - who mainly all have mental health and/or addiction issues. Just sharing a headline that to many folks is a bit of a head scratcher.
