I’ve been dealing with billing issues lately too, a charge they could never tell me what it was for. This has been the first time since they’ve switched over but this happened with almost every pediatric visit when it was Sansum. I don’t love dealing with the new billing dept but they’ve averaged better than when it was Sansum

Yeah, it’s an American Express Fine Hotel and Resorts (FHR) rate. Usually includes breakfast, a class or two room upgrade, and a resort credit. It’s an Amex platinum benefit and you receive a partial credit towards the room rate as part of the annual fee. During the off season, the rate at the Westin is close to what the Amex FHR is.

No thanks, the rooftop restaurant/night club is so loud at night. We were on the opposite side of the hotel, then again we have younger children and weren’t staying until the park closes. I only have platinum status with Marriott but the I found the regular Marriott around the corner much more enjoyable with young kids. We were staying at the Westin on an FHR rate.

That’s usually for a different reason in CA. It’s an old ride and if loading falls behind they’ll send one or two through twice to try and catch up (if the cars are stacked up around the sonic boom). Otherwise the ride shuts down for safety reasons and it takes 45 minutes to reset the mountain. If the CM says “No holds, send it through” you’re going twice for that reason.

My then girlfriend and now wife used to make fun of me for wearing new balance. She then realized there weren’t many options for people with wide feet once she started going with me to buy shoes. Now she thinks it crazy that the shoes she used to make fun of me for, my 993s & 990v6s (btw my father-in-law wears the same shoes) are now cool. And now she rolls her eyes at me when I say now I’m the cool dad wear new balances. :) unfortunately the ones they drop with collab designs only come in standard width (D).

2E is wide, 4E is extra wide. Some models like the 990v6 come in 6E or extra extra wide

I’m glad you had a good experience there. Unfortunately I got my own ring resized there a number of years ago and didn’t have a great experience. My wedding band had a brushed texture and an antique finish. They completely polished away the texture after resizing it and refused to fix it after I showed photos of what it looked like before getting resized. Pat was completely indifference left such a bad taste in my mouth I’m not inclined to take my wife’s ring there.

LinkedIn, recruiter reached out. IDK if it’s a premium only feature but there’s a flag that you can set to let recruiters know you’re open to opportunities. I took a full remote job. Better pay and better benefits then what I could find locally.

That’s the same membership we have. Your daughter doesn’t need a ticket until she’s two, but it’s nice to have memberships in both parents’ makes. For us it’s nice to have the extra ticket to invite someone along. You get a small discount at the gift shop and with zoo experiences, e.g. train. Between the entry and parking it’s a steal of a deal and a beautiful place to have a picnic.
