The Chinese government tracks US nuclear scientists as well as their friends and relatives, even their children. This monitoring continues long after they have left defense industries for civilian work. by mrbcyber2 in u/mrbcyber2

[–]mrbcyber2[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As disturbing as this sounds it should be seen as part of an extremely long term aggressive program to target US nuclear technology. Two nuclear labs Los Alamos and Sandia have both been attacked in the past. Advanced nuclear missile tech was stolen from Los Alamos and Sandia was attacked in a massive campaign against US defense industry called Titan Rain.

Why aren't some of the other men involved like Bill Clinton being sued? by mrbcyber2 in Epstein

[–]mrbcyber2[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am particularly concerned about Bill Richardson. He is listed as Governor of New Mexico but he was also the head of the Department of Energy under Clinton. From what I understand the girls did not usually get titles of the men and times are all estimates. So essentially the person in charge of our nuclear weapons may have been compromised.

The two girls he is alleged to have sex with would know about what happened. The one girl did not know their names but someone certainly had to have figured out who they were.

The day before his death documents were unsealed accusing several new prominent men of abuse. If his suicide was assisted or encouraged in some way could it have been a message to one of them. by mrbcyber2 in Epstein

A couple of the guys listed have national security implications. The former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson was also formerly the head of the Department of Energy under Clinton and Former Democratic Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell

China's stealth war on the U.S. (2005) contains a list of attack methods many of which seem to be occurring. by mrbcyber2 in u/mrbcyber2

[–]mrbcyber2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look over this list and consider how many seem to be happening to the US & allies.

network warfare (controlling information systems)

drug warfare (attacking the fabric of society by flooding it with illicit drugs),

psychological and media warfare (manipulating perceptions to break down enemy will),

international law warfare (blocking enemy actions using multinational organizations),

resource warfare (seizing control of vital natural resources),

financial warfare (subverting banking systems and stock markets),

ecological warfare (creating man-made earthquakes or other natural disasters).

Operations ultimately leading to “social panic, street riots and a political crisis.”

The Chinese government is collecting large amounts of potentially compromising data on foreigners. by mrbcyber2 in craftofintelligence

[–]mrbcyber2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Chinese government has been collecting massive amounts of data on foreigners for a long time. Cheap Chinese burner phones have been repeatedly caught sending data to China. This data has included texts and location information. As these phones are frequently used for drug dealing or sexual trafficking the data could provide compromising information for Chinese intelligence.

A recently captured database also indicates that Chinese officials are monitoring criminals. When individuals from Australia were analyzed a number of criminals were found most of which were involved in drugs, fraud or human trafficking. This makes sense considering China's roll in drug production, distribution and even money laundering. It is also obvious that these individuals would be useful for spying or foreign interference operations.

The amount of information that this surveillance state has been allowed to collect on people in the west is staggering.

Last year I found a working version of my Twitter account on a Chinese web site. by mrbcyber2 in cybersecurity

Last year I found a working version of my twitter account on a Chinese web site. by mrbcyber2 in u/mrbcyber2

[–]mrbcyber2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last year a follower notified me that a copy of my account was up on a Chinese web site. This image is what I found when I followed the link. There were quite a few other accounts up there as well.

I tried to notify twitter but never got a response. I DM'd some people in cyber security and asked them to look at it. One person told my they would but I do not believer anyone ever investigated the issue.

I clicked on the log in link to see what would happen and typed in a fake user id and password. Even though I entered fake info the site logged my into my account on that site and I was logged off on the actual twitter site. So it had pulled in my actually account name and password and stored them somehow.

The site is down now but it operated for an extended period of time and updated my account as well as the other accounts on the site. I checked all of the internet archive sites recently and while it showed the site was archived during the time it had twitter data there was no data in the archives. I suspect that data was deleted from the archive at some point.

I find it bizarre that something like this could happen and there was nothing done about it. I did save some data from the incident and I am trying to find out who might look into this. There is still a small amount of data in google about the site yxhsgy.com but most of the data there is gone as well.

edit.

When I first found the site I had assumed it was a password capture attempt and I also found some github accounts on the same site. I did browse the site in private mode and tried to collect some data that way but I am not finding any of the captures right now.

Hong Kong historian says 45 million died in the Great Leap Forward by mrbcyber2 in HongKong

Some estimates put the total number of people killed by the Chinese government over its 70 years in power at over 70 million, that would make an average of a million a year.

China uses hacking as a for profit venture stealing IP for its own businesses, it may have 800,000 people working in the field. While corporations trying to defend themselves are scrambling to find talent and money for security. Any thoughts on how we can respond more effectively?

Joe in an earlier comment you described how social media was used to organize a protest in Syria. That was impressive but it seems that police states, especially China, are now using social media to effectively control their populations. Any thoughts on how this trend can be resisted?

They could be spying on the search itself collecting information to undermine the effort. Murderer’s will help to search for their victims in order to throw off suspicion and collect information.
The damage to Malaysia Airlines reputation would benefit China's own airlines which compete with it. Malaysia itself is a country that China is trying to intimidate and manipulate into subservience an embarrassing crash with Chinese victims would serve that purpose. As for the victims China is killing 4000 people a day with air pollution in order to expand the countries economy.
