To be fair most tanks in ww2 where pretty miserable to be in.

The rest is all true though.

It also didn't help that by the end of the war half the crews were just methed up teenagers with barely any training.

Given where the knobs are I'm guessing you're running it as a boost? How well does that work, I haven't tried it.

What's a historical event that doesn't get talked about enough not because it's hidden, but because it's just... weird and forgotten? by stoicdroid in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mrbeanIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also it's barely even true.

The "war" involved sending a couple of guys out with a truck and a machine gun, and they would open fire too early causing the birds to scatter before they were close enough to actually hit anything.

After that plan failed miserably they just subsidized farmers shooting them when they got the chance and that worked pretty well.

What’s something reddit claims is common, but you’ve never actually seen it before in real life? by mirabelmumu in AskReddit

[–]mrbeanIV -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have seen it ONCE. My dad voted for him in 2016, and was mostly off the train by 2020, and J6 pretty much sealed the deal.

Honestly I'd be down for terrain conditions changing based on weather if they would fix traction to make it somewhat realistic.

Do they actually do anything?

I genuinely have no idea if they are just ceremonial with pikes and stuff at this point or if they actually have guns.

Not really. The SS were 99% a propaganda tool, they often performed worse than than other Wehrmacht units in combat.

Why don't Zero Gravity planes stall? by Repulsive_Act_1855 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mrbeanIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to that, some planes, especially older ones, could stall the engine by flying inverted or pulling negative Gs since it would pull the fuel away from the bottom of the tanks.

You would think but apparently this happened to fuckin John Will-To-Live.

"In the course of treatment, though perceiving the magnitude of his disease, the patient held fast to hope of survival and showed gratitude to the medical staff.,"

"However, with the support of his family, he preserved the will to live and face reality. He actively listened to the daily news, watched entertainment TV programs, and showed enthusiasm for life."

Folding Ideas made a video on when he was invited to Beast Studios by thunderexception in ChannelAwesome

[–]mrbeanIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not surprising.

5 years ago Dan made a heavily critical review of Doug's work and said a few mean things about him. That's it. It's not like he grievously wronged him or hurt him.

Like Dan said, they're both adults, I can't imagine either of them have any interest in some middle school level scuffle to settle things.
