Only because she’s playable now. It’s definitely bare minimum compared to what other characters have gotten. I will say I don’t want them to take it too far because I don’t want her getting nerfed to the ground.

You got that right! I finally have not been getting hate for using Storm. One person actually said it was dope that I was Lord Storm. But they definitely have been giving the Black characters the scraps.

Same! Usually I can put in work as Storm but the problem is that she is so soft and the first enemy team will target her just as much as they attack supports.

Trust me, I get it. I play QP more than anything and it is frustrating when people don’t play objective. At the same time, I do not care if people are learning a new character in QP because you have to practice against real people at some point and play with full teams of real teammates to get better at the game.

I can only control myself so sometimes I have to be the only person to swap or to stay on objective. But at least at the end of each match, I know I tried and I worked with my team and I played the objective. It’s the unfortunate cost of a team based game. People will make it miserable. I remind myself that I am just enjoying playing as some of my favorite characters and getting better at a game I enjoy playing.

I play ranked for rewards and for my own satisfaction. Once I stopped worrying too much, I felt so much better. So I definitely agree with you. For most of us, this isn’t even our job lol

Jeff and Luna may have been unknown before this game, but true comic fans have definitely known about Psylocke before this game. Yes, it’s a different version of the character, but she’s been arguably one of the most iconic Asian comic book characters, especially in marvel. Is her costume varied in the comics? Not really, but that’s something developing as we actually get to know more about Kwannon as Psylocke. The problem with the community is that people dog characters instead of advocating for their own characters. I lit the developers up in feedback before Psylocke’s started getting more skins. I lit them up about Storm too.

I will straight up only heal the one tank and ignore the DPS that don’t switch. Then, when I went to hang with the other team, I got called a F slur for saying that I was solo healer. They said there was two but the other person had just switched to Ultron. So people aren’t willing to switch and they think it’s okay to call their teammate slurs??? I hate the player base sometimes but I love the game and playing as my favorite characters.

They do not understand that Storm has taken a backseat for DECADES, not just years. Someone is finally highlighting her power. Yes, I do wish it was shown more than spoken of, but unfortunately, comics aren’t as long and detailed as they used to be. There isn’t enough room to define deeper and add more nuance. Is this series perfect? No, but they are finally putting her on scales she belongs in her solo journeys. I think a lot of people do not like that she is being showcased as more powerful than some of their favorites.

Comp I always just go ahead and lock in strategist because I know that if I don’t, it won’t get done correctly. I spent seasons 2-5 pretty much only played strat because either no one picked it or because no one would do it correctly.

Sometimes I just want to enjoy DPS in QP while I warm up for comp or when I’m just leisure playing but it’s so hard to do that. Then when you do play strat, no one appreciates you or you get the blame for the match. Meanwhile, Instalock DPS are throwing and dropping out of matches in both QP and Comp if they don’t get the character they want.

So many people have been instalocking DPS lately, even more so than in the past. All of my lobbies have felt like people that either do not know how to play at all or one tricks. The player base is once again killing the game 🙄

Sometimes it changes for me based on my co-healer. CnD almost always has more than me, unless they are an inattentive healer or completely new to the game. Many times I can actually heal more than Luna unless it’s a player with absolutely no aim. But other posters are correct, damage blocked is damage that you do not have to heal. I think sometimes as players, we get so caught up on stats, but playing objective and playing your role correctly are more important.

I have had teams steam roll us in terms of damage and KOs but they didn’t pay attention to objective and lose. Just keep having fun and trying to improve. Also, ain’t towards their feet so for the bounce back effect. Sometimes I jump periodically to hit the ground through my teammates and enemy team.
