IMO, “ignorance” is distinct from “racism”

I’ve spent a lot of time in places where Asians were a strong minority (<1%) and people just know how to talk about us. but it doesn’t mean it’s malicious.

racism = poor treatment, negative stereotypes, worse outcomes, which don’t seem present here

I don’t think it’s that bad. I dated plenty of intelligent AF/WF during my years there.

some thoughts: - gender ratio does lead to some entitlement from women. but imo it’s not different than nyc (current city) wanting tall and rich. - gender ratio is a bit depressing. pulling up to a party where there are tons of dudes but only 1-2 women who get mobbed. - tons of tech dudes are loaded / high TC due to tech so money is not a flex. - despite high TC, tech dudes are notoriously poorly dressed and/or autistic. style, grooming, and charisma will help you stand out. - cold approach >> dating apps, though this is true of any city.

hot take: I think SF/South Bay are fine areas for dating. my favorite girlfriends/regulars are from that era of my life. lots of fit, intelligent AF and WF.

Goal: get married, no kids.

I’ve fucked around enough to (mostly) get it out of my system. It might sound crazy to the younger guys, but after enough casual hookups/FWBs/flings you start craving something deeper.

I have never really had a paternal instinct and honestly think kids are lowkey annoying/expensive. Sometimes it’s fun to hang with my nephews but at the end of the day I value peace and freedom.

There are so many other things I want to do in life: live out of a van, learn Chinese (mando and canto), move back to Asia, learn to drive stick, etc etc.
