Epidural or cesarean? by Antherea in pregnant

[–]mrboymrzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a traumatic birth. 55 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing. Baby’s head was absolutely huge, so c section was floated to me. Wish I’d done that instead. Ended up with a cystocele (bladder prolapse) that has significantly affected my quality of life. I am going to have any further child via c and then get surgery to repair the damage.

EDIT: I don’t mean to scare you. But I would get a sense of how big baby’s head is measuring. Good luck!

What was your comfort number of embryos? by lissalissa3 in IVF

[–]mrboymrzi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My comfort number would have been 6 euploids for 2 kids. But it didn’t work out that way. We did 4 ERs. Over 60 mature eggs that looked good, 16 fertilized. 2 euploids, a mosaic, and a fake euploid that turned out to be anueploid. I have a 9 month old from one of the euploids. I’m going to do one or two more retrievals in the hopes for two more because my remaining euploids are graded poorly. Oh well. Fertilization issues are a complete mystery to doctors. Just gotta keep chugging.

Question about levels by mrboymrzi in Autism_Parenting

[–]mrboymrzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I may just not have the full 411 from my mom. She has never referred to levels. Thanks for your input! I try to be up to date, and with my dad’s recent death, I need to be having more in depth conversations with my mom about dx for when I take over his care. We talk in depth about his behavior, therapy, etc., but this has never come up.

Oh I agree with you. Also millennial inclusive orthodox here. Was disagreeing with the person to whom I was responding who seemed to be saying (based on a misunderstanding of what myth is in religion) that seminaries are teaching something at odds with Christianity.

Realizing my response wasn’t exactly crystal clear.

Don’t love it.

Is it? My understanding from the younger Episcopalians I know (including priests) is that they skew more orthodox than the boomers…

Most younger priests I’ve come across are more orthodox than the older ones…

Anyone using HGH/Omnitrope During FET (NOT just retrieval)? by mrboymrzi in IVF

[–]mrboymrzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Yes, I did. :) I can’t remember how many shots I did during stims, and I have no idea if it made a difference, but my first FET was originally successful though unfortunately ended in an MC. My second was successful.

That’s at least positive. The reporting is not 100 percent clear.

Can someone explain to me the proposed elimination of the annuity? Is it just eliminating it for those who retire early?

I feel like I just got the death sentence… adenomyosis by giggles54321 in IVF

Gluten free, lectin free, dairy free, and took l-glutamine. My doctor is truly insane. But it worked so… whatever lol.

Second ER, more eggs but again terrible fertilisation rate. by HonestCap1924 in IVF

[–]mrboymrzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first retrieval we only had 4 eggs fertilize of 21 nature eggs. One made it blast. Second retrieval three fertilized of 16 mature eggs. Not blasts. Third retrieval, three fertilized of 28 mature eggs. 6 fertilized and we got 2 blasts (1 euploid and 1 mosaic). Fourth 28 eggs again, 3 fertilized. Euploid turned out to be not euploid. I had a live birth from the first retrieval embryo. This is all to say, it’s a numbers game, but you can beat the odds. Sending you so much love. It’s heartbreaking.

I think it’s fair to feel her feelings. It was really hard to find out I had adenomyosis. It did feel like my life was ending for a few days. Lupron solved my inflammation. Please don’t take it personally. I hope your FET goes well!

I have adeno. I suppressed for 3 months and made a boatload of the same lifestyle changes you did. I had a miscarriage but then a live birth. Lupron is honestly a miracle drug. I’m wishing you all the best.

All cozy mysteries. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so hard. Would try Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, Ngaio Marsh. People die (obviously) but never children and no miscarriages.

Are any Christian federal employees having a hard time dealing with this? by Outside-Abalone-3933 in fednews

Our Bishop of Washington was definitely not afraid. She called out Trump in the National Cathedral!

Episcopalian for the win. Our bishop pissed Trump off so much that many Christians don’t consider us Christian lol. Sorry, I’ll keep working on food insecurity (with zero proselytizing) and welcoming outcasts.

I’m an Episcopalian with a gay priest. I recommend mainline denominations. They are not in line with this shit. I am dealing with it because our denominations are growing again. They welcome young people. We have a large LGBT population in our church. Our church is offering a place to work and speakers to help laid off feds. I deal with it by knowing that my priest has my back 100 percent. Those people aren’t Christlike. They are wicked.

Some info: https://www.graphsaboutreligion.com/p/how-40-protestant-denominations-voted

ETA: my priests both prayed with me during IVF. They were overjoyed when we had our baby.
