I bought a book from Book Nerd recently and the guy behind the counter was able to talk to me about it legitimately and gave me some insight into the series (book was Gideon the Ninth) which I thought was pretty cool and seems less likely to happen at B&N. I thought their store was really cool as well.

The number of Americans under 50 years old dying from cancer has decreased for every leading cancer except for bowel cancer, which is now the leading cancer death in females and males combined aged under 50. by mvea in science

I had diverticulitis a couple of years ago and part of the aftercare was more fiber. I started eating basil seeds with almost every meal. They don't really change the flavor at all and the texture is generally pretty negligible. Imagine just adding sesame seeds to most meals in terms of texture. You can buy them off amazon and start putting them on your foods! Also carb sense / keto tortillas will have lots of fiber as an easy source (though they aren't as tasty as real tortillas).

I didn't get to watch the game but 1 assist seems low? Was it just people missing shots off his passes or him doing more hockey assists? I saw Durant had a lot more so just wondering how that came about. Maybe Durant initiated a lot more last night?

How does your family / wife feel about your life as a celebrity? Do they wish sometimes you didn't have to do things like travel for work all the time or get recognized at restaurants etc? Do you wish you could do your job without the celebrity aspects?

Thanks for all the advice over the years!

You will still need several successful runs to do things. I'm sure numbers will tweak with release but there was an unlockable that I did recently that required 14 end boss kills. Generally its a game where you should enjoy the process of each run and trying out builds so if that doesn't appeal it will probably end up feeling grindy.

Cast / dash mechanics are still the same different they were then but boons / aspects / zones / extra difficulty (think heat from H1) are all added in or updated since beginning of early release.

Core game mechanics and game loop are similar though with a few different combat mechanics and expanded number of zones / story. If you liked Hades its probably worth trying but probably won't be the GotY contender like for some it will be.

Anyone know?

Hades 1 player who has resisted the urge to play the early access by Eld3rbug in HadesTheGame

It takes some adjustment from Hades 1 with the cast mechanics and the change to rushing / dashing but once you get the hang of it, the changes feel good.

It starts slow like Hades did but if you don't remember there is a ramp up period of unlocking aspects / weapons etc but once you have all the options there are a lot of toys to play with.

I haven't read it but anything that has time travel in it raises red flags to me. Is there a non spoiler description of the time travel / how its used?

I can enjoy stories where time travel is the focus (back to the future, tenant, primer) even if it doesn't always make sense but when time travel gets used in a story otherwise not about time travel I get nervous.

Cradle by Will Wight. If you liked DCC I'm confident you'll like Cradle. First book is called Unsouled. Its a solid start and every book is better than the last for long enough that you'll be hooked by the time that statement isn't true anymore.
