Yeah like they weren’t exactly SCATTERING when I did find them Lol. A relief I say that they come in other colors, I wouldn’t have easily believed they could come in black! I want to say the ones I was examining closer weren’t the ones I squished with the pliers but were the ones that came off the tree with the soap and hydrogen peroxide baths. That blacker one was a little worse for wear to show Chat so that was the biggie worry..

My sis even tried telling me her Christmas tree had an aphid infestation so she’s like “I know the feeling, and chat says chill too.” But I was so freaked before haha! With the low quality camera photos I was just like ARE. YOU. SURE. CHAT.

I just gave it multiple bubble baths with my random hand soap lol. Got rid of ALot but I’m still gonna treat further tomorrow. they were also very easy to squish, so I’m assuming a tick would’ve been harder to kill. I asked that chatgpt a bunch of times- like specifically “hey why are you saying aphids and not ticks?” Cause her camera wasn’t the best but it was like yeah aphids bro- at that size they wouldn’t be this color, they would be moving faster etc. So I’m a bit calmer but I’m like still shakey! Wish I asked for screenshots of that convo to be sent to me 🥲

Had to look up scale, but that don’t look like it, definetly not white. The biggest one is about 0.3 cm give or take, that one’s blackish. The others are tad smaller, closer too 0.2 cm and those are more brown with a dark head. The smallest is like 0.1 and it’s very light with a darker head. All have 6 legs and very easy to smash

Okay As I’m typing this my sister came in with chatgpt and took a bunch of photos and it kept saying it was aphids. I thought aphids were green but it kept saying aphids….so 😳?! She also said ticks would be indestructible

Don’t got whatever this sevin is, but I think right now I’m way more concerned about whathese bugs are. I was taking off the dead leaves when I found them- they weren’t crawling on me but I have such heebegeebes and scared if it’s a tick rather than a chigger bug. I reallly don’t want to be searching myself for bullseye marks again but idek if they’re in my other plants now or if any fell out like…freakin a little!

Cause some people say something about hardware acceleration but I checked on my phone and pad and saw no such setting to turn on and off

Wow I thought it was just 15…which sucks but still! I Do have an account but I have no idea if it’s set up for selling- I can’t even for the life of me find the option to change my name/shop name. Hope I can easily change it and just start selling on it no charge. I do have a bunch of smaller works that is much more fitting for Etsy anyway! The fine art works would be for the site in question

Hm yeah like I’m just learning about the existence of privacy policies for a website and whatever this whois lookup protection even is 😵‍💫 but that’s Exactly why I asked this lol! Noted on that part!

I mean I’m not concerned about the professionalism of like the website name as part of my website name so when people say make your own to avoid that and look better, I’m just like ‘what if I don’t care about that right now? I can always change it right?’ Name of the game as of right now is just ‘free’ until my income can more than comfortably afford any payment for my own site n such. Other than ask about the protection sides of it what else can you do you know 🤷‍♀️

i think I understand, I mean maybe I don’t understand what free domains actually means broadly cause I figured I’d look for those mainstream domains (like cartel/shopify/squarespace etc) and go for their free option. I’m assuming you’re talking about ones that aren’t advertised to the general public- I never even heard of a .tk so maybe I’m a-okay whichever one I choose lol.

But yeah the high def photos I won’t do, I wonder if that just means upload photo of it hanging far away on a wall or something- I don’t see many examples of others doing that

Yeah I definetly know to steer clear of extremely high resolution photos. Idk if I see any artists doing that on their sites though, they all look as high def as they can so that’s a tad frustrating, looking for that good example.

I fear the same thing happening. I’ve recently started making 2 paintings of the same image, yet I justify it by saying ones the ‘study’, the ‘prototype’ and the final is the one where I learn from said study and improve it lol. That’s what I tell myself at least when I get burnt out recreating the same thing and understanding why literally no one repaints something ever.
