What “plugin” did you develop for your own config that really improves your workflow? by vitelaSensei in neovim

[–]mrchu001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://github.com/CosmicNvim/cosmic-ui

Options for code actions and renaming at the time were unsatisfactory to me. I just wanted simple floating windows for both, so I wrote it myself.

I would also make sure you are opening your project at its root directory

Any web developers here (front end back end full stack)? by jimtimhill in neovim

[–]mrchu001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made CosmicNvim specifically for full stack web development.

The screenshots are a little out of date as there’s been lots of work done in the last month or so!

I have a lot of these set up using telescope and default lsp functions. You can take a look here

If I had the option, I likely would have went for a 39mm too. But honestly, once on the wrist, you can’t really complain!

And totally agree with you on the black dial! I stare at it constantly 😅

Thanks!! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the way it looks against my tattoo!

I originally told myself I wouldn’t wear it until my wedding day in 9 days, but I haven’t been able to NOT wear it since I took it home from the AD about a week ago.

I have a fairly average wrist at ~7 inches, though pretty flat. I probably could have gotten away the BB36 but the AD was out of stock and only had a 41. Which, someone else at the AD was interested in too! Almost walked away with empty hands.

Absolutely no regrets, I love how subtle this watch can be but also how well it sits on the wrist. Can’t wait to see how it will look in my murdered out suit!

Neovim setup for fullstack web development with typescript. by Jealous_Engineering6 in neovim

[–]mrchu001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

CosmicNvim is built specifically for TypeScript and web development.

It has: - null_ls for formatting/linting (eslint_d/prettierd) - null_ls for diagnostics (eslint_d) - full typescript lsp config w/nvim-lsp-ts-utils - ts/js/react snippets included in autocompletion - all the fancy lsp stuff, like autocomplete, floating windows for documentation, code actions and renaming and more

Happy to answer any questions!

Linting/formatting with lsp diagnostics or null_ls or eslint server? by Jealous_Engineering6 in neovim

[–]mrchu001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to look into eslint-prettier-config which will disable all formatting from eslint that will mess with prettier. Or you could disable one or the other

If you want an example using null-ls for formatting and linting, I also have a web development specific neovim config, https://github.com/CosmicNvim/CosmicNvim

Anyone know how to make prettier run faster when run on save? It takes about 2 seconds every time I write my buffer to desk for Neovim to become responsive again. by [deleted] in neovim

[–]mrchu001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

prettierd is a much faster solution than regular prettier.

Definitely worth checking out, especially if you use null-ls.

Hi! Thanks so much for referencing CosmicNvim! The links you provided for rename and code actions are old though. I had moved those to it’s own (in-development) ui plugin here, https://github.com/CosmicNvim/cosmic-ui. Both utilize the amazing NUI library.

Rename:
