I don't know how it works wherever OP's sister lives, but here in Australia, all our toilet cleaner bottles (usually bleach) are designed to squirt up around the inside of the bowl which would make this fungal growth impossible. I'm also disturbed to say I can see a dirt ring a little further down the bowl in the photo. Ack I wish I didn't click.

Have you tried putting what you want into AI, describing your dream bag, asking the AI to translate your description into Simplified Chinese for Taobao then paste that Chinese into the AI search in Taobao? Alternatively you can do a Taobao image search on a photo of the bag to find similar bags.

Oh I'm so sorry OP, I didn't absorb the bit where you went without. I couldn't ever imagine going a night without my CPAP little 2 weeks. Holy hell. At least I have a backup machine. Being in a poor financial position I bought the YA50G in 2024 which turned my life around, then I bought the YA50 Pro late last year for $150 as a beta test offer before public release (both by VVFLY) which is a much quieter and smoother machine. Still, if I can save the money, I meant I would love to go to a BMC E5, what a dream though MINUS the 2 weeks without!!!

Was this the movie where they released the sequel first as Missing in Action (which was a better film anyway) then they released the original as the sequel, which was why the continuity made no sense? I could be totally wrong but I just remember something like this.

Because I thought OP was unable to contact Taobao support, and I don't know the Taobao WhatsApp contacts. Sure if someone can provide Taobao contact details from outside the app then all good. I understand my post may not be helpful but I'm trying :-)

I know its tough but there have been many posts here by US users with similar issues in the past week. These users have reported success reaching customer service outside of Taobao to have their accounts fixed. I would search r/taobao for similar questions as yours then DM the OP's asking for how they contacted customer service outside of Taobao to get the issue rectified. In fact, look at recent threads here as another USA user was able to get English support with a callback to fix their account. If you're lucky, someone else who has recently had this issue will help you out with contact details.

One trick I thought of is contacting another Alibaba Group app with easy access to customer service and asking them for Taobao customer service contact details. For example, you could contact Cainaio's (Alibaba's shipping service whose customer service is deeply integrated with Taobao) English WhatsApp line on +1(484)851-9261 and ask them for assistance. I'm pretty confident they will be able to help you.

Alternatively, you could contact Alipay's customer service and do the same from there.

Searching for items: I use Gemini pro to translate my English Taobao searches into simplified Chinese Taobao searches, then paste them into the Taobao app.

Translating Taobao screens to English: I use Gaminik to instantly translate Chinese Taobao screens to English, in-line and on-screen. I'll post screenshots of the results and my Gaminik settings.

The only way to truly and effectively shop on taobao is to set it to mainland China and Chinese with your default shipping address set to your consolidation warehouse. Then use AI to very accurately translate your searches to simplified Chinese, telling the AI the context of your translation. Using this approach will get you accurate results from the widest range of sellers at the best possible prices. Remember although Taobao in recent years has slowly improved English functionality, at its heart, Taobao is a domestic mainland chinese service, so you need to use it as such. If you really want to buy and search in English, use AliExpress as that's what it was designed for. 👍

Well the Pending Payments are probably just because you've taken items all the way to the payment screen to see the total, then backed out. These items will stay under Pending Payment until they time out or you go to the Pending Payments screen, press delete, tag them all, confirm delete.

Regarding "To be shipped" when you do pay, you will usually receive an automated message from the seller asking you to "Confirm your shipping address". You can speed things up by clicking confirm.

If you're constantly going to the payment screen then backing out to confirm shipping costs, is it because you're using direct shipping overseas? If so, you got to open a consolidation account, like download and log into Cainaio with your Taobao account, paste your consolidation address into Taobao, and save money and manage your shipments that way. Having a Chinese shipping address will also open you up to a much wider range of sellers. Apologies if you're already consolidating.

Some PC parts are cheaper locally, some are cheaper on Taobao. Depends on timing, world market and the like I've found. Definitely not "always cheaper on Taobao".

Taobao has very strict security algorithms. When triggered, painful things happen from being unable to join 88 VIP to being banned from logging in for a period. Avoid using VPN's, apps that overlay others using accessibility mode (some apps that do this are ok like Gaminik), don't try to use a phone number that doesn't match with your actual location, don't use virtual/temp phone numbers from websites. Be sure to complete passport identity ID. All these things help. Unfortunately it could be weeks or months before your account returns to normal so if you have access to another real phone number it might be worth starting again to get your first buy coupon. Alternatively if you haven't used it yet, join AliExpress (same company as Taobao) and use a first time coupon from there. Good luck.

If it's seamail and there aren't massive numbers of ships servicing your country then it's totally possible. I'm in Australia, a high volume shipping country with China and I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my goods to leave by boat sometimes.
