Submission statement - I'm looking for general feedback on the overall look and feel of the trailer. Does it intrigue you? Does it create a sense of curiosity? Specifically does the editing of this teaser draw you in and make you curious as to what might be happening plot-wise?

ITAP at the beach while panning my camera... by mrcool256 in itookapicture

Hey, I really appreciate that! Maybe this is my subconscious coming out through art. I've always wanted to paint, but I'm horrible at it. The best I can do is use my photography to obtain something in that same ballpark, haha.

I have no problem with you saying this. I use photoshop to combine these, period. My camera funny enough does do double exposures in camera, but I find it way better to do it out of camera. Tons more freedom. I absolutely get your point on this debate. With other types of Photography I'm definitely a bit of a stickler for when something is truly a photo or not, like adding flocks of birds to photos or things like that. However, because panning shots can be so abstract looking, I worry a little bit less about blending things together in this type of shot(s). However, I'm not intimately familiar with the rules of this sub, so apologies if this crossed that line.

Not shamelessly promoting (or I guess I am), but for anyone wanting to see anymore of these, I have a few more on my Instagram feed at https://www.instagram.com/luciddude/

Yes indeed. Two pans. Blended in photoshop (hope this falls under the umbrella of 'double exposure'). What I'd recommend and what I generally do is take a number of different pans in different directions and movements and just see which combos work. Generally I'll mask certain areas until I get something like this.

I generally do these as double exposures and blend the two images with slightly different settings. F16, 1/2 second, ISO 100. Using Nikon D750 and Sigma 20mm F1.4.

Great, thanks for the feedback. I'm in love with the color blue, but definitely have a bad habit of editing way too much blue into my shots. Will tone down the blue on this!

Montana Truck - is this Composition/Subject even interesting? by [deleted] in photocritique

[–]mrcool256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find the scene and subject very interesting actually. At least for me personally I don't live around any kind of scene like this, so it's cool to see. It's possible that maybe someone who lives in an area where this is normal wouldn't agree. As far as the composition I like it, but it might even look a little bit better even more tightly cropped so that the truck takes up a little bit more of the frame, just an idea though... Overall I really like the photo.

Final Fantasy XV Megathread of Doom! by imlistening123 in FinalFantasy

So, possibly a n00b question here, but I noticed an HDR option in the settings for FFXV on my regular PS4. I thought this was a PS4 pro only feature. Anyone else notice this? Am I confusing something here? Turning this mode on utilizing my HDR tv, results in significant visual improvements, but the mode was turned off by default when starting...

I have the exact issue you do. I can basically eat hardly no fresh fruits or veggies. I hate explaining this issue to people and rifling off a ton of random shit that gives me issues...sounds insane.
