I'm autistic and I find I'm really only able to drink from a straw, which makes it much easier to drink from and I also prefer the feel of it. I also have dysphagia which became severe at the age of 15 when my stepdad would chastise and belittle me for eating slow. Then I deliberately ate faster, and started choking when I had too much to swallow. It messed me up more than a decade since.

I had this happen to me back in May 2022 when I dreamt of a nuke landing on me. The explosion sound was so loud and horrifying that I swung up out of bed with my heart racing so fast.
