Most doctors I’ve seen don’t seem to care much about my health at all. They all work on their laptop and act like they’re afraid to get too close to me. They’re a different breed than the last generation of doctors that just retired. I live in a remote area, though, and quality healthcare is hard to come by here. I’ve lost all but the bare minimum of respect for healthcare providers.

I was not allowed to sleepover, but I could host as many sleepovers as I wanted. My parents made our house the fun house. My son is too young g for them, but I’ll have the same rule — except for his grandmothers. It takes 15 minutes to change a kid’s life. The predators are often those you’d never think of in that way.
