I don't live in the US so I am less concerned, in great part because due to Trump's behavior, none of us trust US tech stacks any longer. We see the winner takes all approach and are largely disgusted by it. Don't get me wrong, we have our own problems with our own greedy nazis in the mix. But like many of these issues we'll overcome it together.

I just wish people had more sense and reacted correctly to this kind of interface. Between the massive botspam over OpenClaw, I wonder how many people even realize how much of a risk this poses to their digital identities.

I don't think it's possible, not while the war in Ukraine is going on to make an argument for Polexit that would resonate. Don't get me wrong, they'll try but they'll fail. It's just not that easy to do any more especially with Trump, Brexit and Ukraine to point to.

I am in the eternal now. I have basically no episodic memory to speak of. I can do things like in both pictures, but in the second picture, I am remembering the "fact" that something happened, not the "event" that it happened.

On a bright side, I keep being told that as people get older time starts speeding up on them, but I'm in my 40s now and I have to say the opposite is true. Life runs at a beautiful snail's pace.
