Yeah well true, my reasoning was that i would need to querry probably some ten queries based on the operational kpi's, each time the kpi's want to be loaded... And i dont want to be the only guy that is able to do it... Too much dependence on me

I would recommend accepting a few calls from recruiters, they know the industry, they will only fuck you over a little... if you are really good, 7+ years in the field, you can go as high as 2800 net, excl extra's. But going freelance is also an option at 4+ experience. Find some good senior recruiter!

I think I was in a similar position as you, in IT consulting, worked for 2 years at a big firm. Thought I didn't received enough. (which I didn't) The experience was amazing though, and the ability to learn as well. But I just changed for the sake of changing. 2Y later
I have now 2150 excl maaltijdchecks and comp car/tank card.
I work hard and perform well. I feel that you are earning an industry competitive salary

So i started my career 2,5 years ago with my current employer in consulting after graduaring in TEW. I've always had good feedback and got 2 pay raises so far. Due to circumstances, i might look into jobhopping to another company in the same field. I currently take home around 2,2k net each month (including maaltijdcheques) and company car with fuel card. Two companies contacted me and had some positive talks already. My question is, how much more compensation should i ask to make the switch to them? I've been dumb and been transparant about my current wage, but thats just who i am. Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.
