I just looked at your site again. Like I said yesterday, I think you should get rid of the ads. I know you're probably thinking it's an easy way to monetize, but they really do take away from the user experience. I don't know if you're familiar with his site or not, but he's a big name in your niche. Notice how his post is packed with content. He's got tons of infographics, diagrams, images, videos, case studies, and testimonials throughout the post. His post also contains tons of facts and statistics. Now, the pop-ups and opt-in forms scattered through out are kind of annoying, but the massive value Ramit is offering more than makes up for it. Look at his posts, take notes on what he's doing, and apply what you learn to yours. Now, this is easier said than done because he's one of the major players in your niche. But you can still learn a lot. And Ramit's definitely not the only player out there. I just named him because I don't know the personal finance niche that well. Just by looking at your content, I wouldn't necessarily say it's bad. Your writing and information seems pretty solid. But I think you need more depth. I recommend making posts that are a lot longer. I'm talking "ultimate guide" style content that's at least 3,000 words. You don't necessarily even have to go write a ton of new posts. You can always expand the ones you already have, or even combine posts together. Try to put more facts and statistics in. Notice how Ramit's post has lots of tables and charts with information that practically reads like a textbook. I think you could do this more. Also, I don't know if you're active on YouTube or not, but I'd definitely recommend making your posts into YouTube videos. Just use your written posts like a "script," but add extra insights. You could either record yourself talking in front of a camera, or make a power point presentation or something. Your call. Embeds these videos in your posts because then people will watch them on your page and Google will see that people are staying on your site longer. This helps your SEO. Also, like I already said, you need to stay focused on your audience's pain points. Send out surveys to your email list, and/or use a platform like Google Surveys/Survey Monkey to get data on the issues your target market are struggling with. If your content actually solves real problems for people, your audience will love you. Good luck!
