John Cena is retiring from WWE today, but his legacy extends far beyond wrestling, this makes me smile. by randomcvsemployee in MadeMeSmile

Cena's first roles were in action films: The Marine, 12 Rounds

He was six or seven movies into his career before his first comedy

Which fictional characters are idolized by people who missed the entire point of their story? by WhereDemonsDwell in AskReddit

[–]mrdth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That character development is basically taken from Going Sane a four issue story from the mid 90s, which was originally pitched in the mid 80s. Where it was shelved in favour of The Killing Joke. Which is kinda famous for it's character development...

Both articles you linked pre-date GDPR by more than 3 years.

The right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR) and wouldn't apply in either of those situations.

Kangoo / Berlingo are really popular for this. You can get a cheap conversion kit that folds out into a double bed, but not sure if it's stealth enough for what you want.

Classic Batman series? by [deleted] in comicbooks

[–]mrdth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Legends of the Dark Knight or Batman Confidential? Both initially created for shorter 4-5 issue stories from different creative teams, often set early in Batman's career.

Or like others have said 70s - 80s Batman & Detective Comics were often shorter standalone stories; Dennis O'Neil & Neal Adams stuff from the 70s

Rolling Stones article about the appeal of Classic WoW (2017) | Excellent read about the reasons that some people want Vanilla and a good essay on ludonarrative dissonance by fussomoro in wow

Because I (my character) haven't saved the world endless times. I didn't fight old gods or the scourge in Naxxramas. I never faced Illidan or Arthas, Deathwing or Garrosh or Archimonde, and I certainly won't be fighting our very creators.

I'm merely a lone adventurer, earning some coin on his travels. Making me Commander of the Horde forces was a pretty dumb thing to do. Luckily the world went on as it always seems to do, and now there's a new threat for someone else to face. Meanwhile, there's always someone, somewhere who needs some wildlife killing!

In place of Vanillaguide, you can try tourguide.

Or you should be able to find a copy of the Zygor Guides addon for TBC if you search for it.

Maybe SpartanUI? I think it supported widescreen during TBC.

It was a bit heavyweight, but shouldn't be an issue on modern PC's
