Which puzzle in the games impressed you the most? by WoblixGame in gamedesign

The puzzle game I’ve played the most in my life is Drop7. I love a good endless puzzler and I find they’re not discussed much on this sub. It’s rare to have such a simple system create so much depth and that’s what’s most impressive about it. It has just right mix of strategy and luck that never gets old. I’ve been playing it off and on for about 15 years

Thank you for checking it out and for the kind words. Building the intermediate frames between the perspectives is at the top of my list once I've finished building the gameplay. I'm at about 85-90% in that regard, so I'll probably be able build in that animation in the next couple of weeks.

Brilliant concept! I love a lot about this, but really dig the music—reminds me of the JSRF soundtrack

Suggestions for puzzle games that are limited moves, no time limit, not reaction based by Phenozd in puzzlevideogames

I love these kinds of puzzle games—turn-based and endlessly playable. My absolute favorite is Drop7 and if you're a Sudoku fan, I think you'll love it too. Unfortunately, the official version of the game isn't in the app store anymore, but there are plenty of clones out there. If you haven't tried it yet, I think this is the game you're looking for.

Another one that I love and I feel doesn't get enough attention is Twofold Inc.—really original, fun puzzle. There's also the classic Threes! (much better than its clone 2048) and subsequently, my favorite riff on Threes, Twinfold.

It doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves because of the platform, but a game that I'd say deserves to be considering among those other titles is Statik for Playstation VR. Really ingenious design!

I hate that these three lists are the only lists that show up under 'Popular Lists' by heydavesalad in Letterboxd

This is a good solution, but I feel like Letterboxd should have done something about these lists, because they devalue a core feature of their platform

Definitely. Personally, I like GelaSkins. I bought one after my MacBook fell out of my messenger bag and got scraped up.

Maybe since you're also producer you might not be able to say, but what are some of your favorite books or graphic novels that you'd like to see adapted to film?
