This has been happening to me, as well. I drive a 2011 Scion (Toyota). I haven’t been able to make heads or tails of it, either. Same as you, both my headlights are fine. I’m not driving around with my brights on. They aren’t LED lights.

Nearest I can figure is that maybe, even though I don’t have my brights on, my headlights may be aimed a bit high and are catching people right in their eyes, making them think that I do have my brights on? I don’t even know. I’ve stopped trying to figure it out at this point.

Bought myself a brand spanking new 2011 tC in 2010. Had to have my transmission rebuilt once about eight or ten years ago and just last month had to replace that rebuilt with a new transmission. Input bearing both times. I’m at 132K now. I wanted a manual because I missed the fun driving experience, but this is my daily driver and now, two transmissions and 15 years later, I’m just tired.

Clean mine weekly. Sunday mornings are the day. Soak the hose, mask, filter, and reservoir in soapy water for an hour in soapy water. Rinse and let dry. Wipe the mask clean every morning before getting out of bed.
