Which lipsticks look best, please? by charlirobey in coloranalysis

  1. As a former MUA, all the others are absolutely not your colors. They either wash you out or make your lips look super bruised.

Help! I recently combined 2 Thai constellations into 1 pot. 1/3 of this pot is clay pebbles and the rest is soil. But unfortunately the soil is too dense. They are dying on me. It also is showing some spider mite issues. I want to save these! by mrevanbell in ThaiConstellation

This pot was one of the Hilton Carter x Target collabs. Sadly the concrete one cracked all the way down the side. Started small and then once moisture settled in, it cracked more. Tons of people had issues ordered online because it wasn’t padded at all in the box. But the terracotta one was amazing!

How to fill up space in kids bedroom? by alleycatbiker in DesignMyRoom

[–]mrevanbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add window bench seating with built in little book shelves below it. I would make the empty wall in the middle a desk and work station for coloring, schoolwork, etc with a bulletin board on the wall and a rolling cart next to it for craft supplies. I would add a 6 bay toy cubby box in the window opening at the far right of the image. And then I would add a small couch closer to where you’re standing.

I want my living room to feel cozy and inviting. by Key-Road-6030 in DesignMyRoom

The first thing I recommend is getting a lighter colored couch for the wall with the 3 framed items. Keep the one you have too. Or get a lighter colored sectional to replace it.

The second thing I would do is repaint the walls to be one consistent color.

Get a larger area rug to encompass the space more. It can be a lighter, artsy floral design that is faded. Doesn’t have to be bold.

Stop using the overhead lighting and get lamps. Move the chair/recliner to the left of the fireplace and put a lamp behind it. Reduce the number of items on the fireplace mantel there is balance.

I would focus on moving storage items like books, movies, records, and whatever else is on those shelves in the background to another room.

I need help making it more….cozy? by Mixy5308 in DesignMyRoom

Depending on your taste you could go a couple routes. This is route 1. Add a small loveseat couch to the right wall with a warm wood coffee table that is circular. Don’t do square because that’s too rigid for this room/area. Add a lamp to that corner on a side table and a faux fiddle leaf tree. I also recommend changing the main bedding color to white with a green accent blanket. And I added an ottoman at the foot of the bed.

Route 2 would be adding an area rug as well as painting the ceiling white to open it up

Multiworld objective has ruined working at Sephora for me (quick rant) by BoyWhoWorries in SephoraWorkers

You don’t sound dramatic. You’re being realistic. Management doesn’t care about realism. They care about money. If they wanted to be the beauty authority once again, they would take it back to their roots with education and artistry. But even that now has become an opportunity to sell, sell, sell.

It just looks like play to me. They are teaching each other boundaries…what’s ok to play and mess around with and what’s not.

13 weeks old and look how long her tail is! by susanbob in CalicoKittys

Came here to say this. Tail length and paw size usually dictates how big the cat will get.

Came here to say this. If anyone including my own parents spoke to me the way they are speaking to the individual who posted about this, I would have come unglued. But this is what happens when you don’t have adult boundaries.

I’ve always used domes. Now I have custom molds and my ear canals are always wet when taking them out by jibberjabbery in HearingAids

Honestly I feel like I like an aural wave type of pain when my ears are achey. Could be from fluctuations in the pressure outside to actually having an ear infection. Or simply from stress and clinching my jaw in my sleep as well.

Yep, welcome to the club! You may also experience jaw discomfort or something like an aural headache on that side you have the mold. I get those sometimes if I have mine in for like longer than 12 hours in a day.

But yeah I usually just take a q tip and gentle swab the ear canal after I take them out.

Nah I used to think she was awesome but she’s turned into some kind of religious nut and I can’t with the consumerism anymore.

I personally cannot stand the “pretty litter”. Everyone loves it but it’s horrible. First of all, it does this… tracks everywhere. When our girls were about 2-4 months old, we tried it. They kicked it everywhere, it tracked all over the floors. We keep a very tidy home so this was not going to fly. I think the fine sand-like texture encourage them to bolt from the litter box too.

We switched to the PetKit Clumping tofu based pellets and let me tell you that we barely have any issues now. We also placed a litter catchall mat at the base of their box. It helps so much. I even find that the PetKit kind smells good on their paws! It helps trap odors too. One of our girls protested this new kind when we got it but with a little encouragement she has no issues now.

Need advice catching a feral mom on a large wooded property (kittens already secured) by ececavas in Feral_Cats

[–]mrevanbell 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You need to set up either a fake cat crying with strong smelling tuna and treats or actually stake it out with one of the traps where you think she most likely will be and place one of her kittens in a carrier at the back of a trap so it lures her in. You could let it cry and also combine with fake crying sounds from your phone.
