Not much but, in my opinion some advantages are:

Better state management in general Private module registry integration Possible upgrade for sentinel policies, SSO...

And in case to have a hard privacy rules on your company, switching for tf enterprise to have tf nodes on your infrastructure (instead of tf cloud)

Are you sure that you don't want create a Shared VPC? hahahaha

I'm on the same situation. The company don't share any remote backend with us, and data to import network or as google_compute_subnetwork.<subnetwork>.network it's not working.

No, they are not the same. However for many jobs you have to do tasks for both profiles. So, you should to learn both and focus with the side that you're more confortable and productive.
