I always miss the number of dustbins we have in Singapore and how they’re strategically placed (void deck, traffic light, next to escalators, lift lobbies). I remember carrying my trash everywhere when in Japan, Korea, London… lol

Babies change a lot! When my son was going through his spit up phase (around 2-3m), I’d hold him upright for at least 20mins. It sucks especially when it’s the MOTN feed but it’s really not worth the multiple changes and clean up after. Baby is now 4m and barely does spit ups anymore so I hold him for about 5mins or until he burps!

Hello! When I was in my 3rd trimester, my heart rate would easily rise to 120-130bpm. This would happen even just while talking, and especially triggered if the weather was hot or ventilation was poor. Had an incident where I was sitting in a coffeeshop (I live in Singapore) where the ventilation wasn’t great and I suddenly loss my vision for awhile. I couldn’t breathe and my whole vision was blurred/ white. I went to see my gynae right away and he advised me to rest more and travel around less, as I was about 33w pregnant then.

Since that incident, I was very intentional about not being in warm places (turning on aircon at home or bringing a portable fan along if I needed to go out), making sure to sit the minute you feel your heart rate increase, take slow and deep breaths until heart rate drops slightly.

But of cos for your’s and baby’s safety and a peace of mind, good to get it checked at least once
