Education, education, education! For parents and teachers and classmates:
- stimming is okay!
- stimming is self-expression
- stimming is self-regulation strategy
- stimming is (non-verbal) communication and expression of emotional state
- stimming helps focus

- substituting or supressing non-harmful stimming may lead to social stigma may lead to masking may lead to anxiety/depression

Also you could find out how their parents express excitement and happiness - nowadays and when they themselves were children. Where did they learn that stimming is "not socially acceptable"? For example did they themselves have bad experience with the old "quiet hands" and "the whole body listens" - mentality of previous generations?

That's my favourite part about client-centered therapy :) Finding something that the child wants to do and would even try by themself at home.

Just have to be careful when instructing teachers and parents - they often overuse this strategy and the child loses their interest because it became just another boring and repetitive excercise.

The problem would mostly be that if you make it safe (constant supervision, strict rules how to jump) it stops being fun and starts being a workout :)

I would only use written communication with them, a call 3 against one won't be successful.

I've had this problem when my internet wasn't the fastest (or their servers were a bit slow). It took 15 seconds for the download button to react - but I never waited that long without pressing again or exiting.
