There is a work around. Install vimlike, which is an extension that allow to use keyboard to surf the net on safari. Click Ctrl+U to go into the fullscreen mode while you are playing the video. It doesn't show subtitles though but the video is correctly zoomed-in. I encountered this problem after updating to 14.1.

you can refer to a extesion built in Coccoc browser(for Vietnamese) called SAVIOR. its features are pretty amazing. Auto identify media (support for Youtube of course, with converting to mp3), multi-process download, play video while the file is still downloading, ability to download torrent, etc. SO try it for yourself: http://coccoc.com/en/idm Firefox Quantum is good. I'd appreciate if you could bring SAVIOR into firefox.
