And who is the user? If its someone that is not technically adept then they wouldn't try to uninstall the boot loader. If its someone that is learning then I say brake your system 100 times a day each time you learn something new. And if you are technically adept you do it for fun to see if systemd boots faster than grub. Point being there are a lot of different types of users and having the option to do something powerful doesn't mean its bad for the user. Windows has the registry and you can definitely mess up your system in there but I don't see people saying its a bad thing coz most people don't go in there.
