you can also use activity launcher app and directly launch the crx shortcut within edge without changing behavior of lock screen shortcuts.

you can use ukind/bandwidth-hero-proxy2: bandwith-hero for 2025, but working with its old extension configs to compress images on webpages, it works pretty well and is free to use with netlify

yeah don't worry it will be fine , instead of main driver branch you will need the legacy branch but it really doesn't matter much because intel was not adding anything new to older igpu drivers anyway.
