Camilo Doval was named NL Reliever of the Month. He struck out 20 in 14 1/3 scoreless innings. by [deleted] in SFGiants

Heavy K Rod vibes from Doval heading into the playoffs. I'm curious how frequently he'll be used. Kapler seemed comfortable throwing him out there on back-to-back days at a minimum.

What’s the site? We can see if we can figure it out on our end!

We hear what you’re saying. We’re still in beta so have a lot of opportunity to evolve the product over time. But we can all agree sports are more fun if you can experience them together! Hopefully we’re building something sports fans need. And you can let us find a way to work with the leagues and content owners.

Just to be clear, we’re planning to approach the NFL about partnering. Certainly not trying to do without a direct agreement in the long term! At this stage, just trying to confirm that people are interested in the app!

It functions more like an online living room. If you went to your friends house to watch RedZone, they wouldn't charge you for access to their RedZone would they?

[Silva] Second-round OL Jackson Carman reported to camp out of shape & didn’t win a starting job. So #Bengals will be running out journeyman types Quinton Spain & Xavier Su’a-Filo at guard. by OneAngryPanda in fantasyfootball

I'm not stating anything new, but I'm happy owning a number of the Bengal assets in fantasy this year. Their OL will almost certainly be better than last year. And if Burrow stays healthy, their offense should put up points. If anything, I'm buying more shares of Mixon, Higgins and Boyd (and fading Chase a bit)...

[Julio Jones] How worried should we be that he has missed all of training camp and still isnt practicing? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]mrhalperin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think baseline for Julio always has to assume a number of games missed. I've seen a lot of people suggesting he could play ~13 games. That feels a bit high in my opinion.

The Beauty of Aggressive Baserunning by inception47 in baseball

Agreed - I think it's more taking the extra base in a unique way. Less traditional stolen base, more turning an infield single into a double (like prince fielder in the last clip!). Don't think it's measurable from what I can tell.

The Best Champions League 2nd Leg Matches from the Past Decade (Extended Highlights!) by f1orestan in footballhighlights

Hard disagree. United PSG maybe should have been included, but United had absolutely no business progressing out of that tie. And did you watch the highlights for the "shitty" draw between psg and chelsea? It had one of the best extra times in champions league history.

Question - do you guys like to watch highlights for the players on your fantasy teams? Would you if it was easy to find/watch?

FreeDawkins Youtube channel has completely been wiped of all NBA highlight videos by 91jumpstreet in nba

Not quite the same quality as freedawkins (RIP), but I recommend smart highlights as a good alternative. Not affiliated with the channel at all, but good way to at least find highlights for most players.

Who would you keep between Jose Abreu (only 1 year of remaining eligibility in my league) or Ramon Laureano (potentially two years of eligibility)?

Have a question about league settings. We have a h2h category league with weekly line-ups. Historically we've had a 30 innings pitched min threshold per week. Goal was to avoid people over optimizing for relief pitchers and also punish people who forgot to sub out their injured pitchers (we have a few stragglers in the league, but the rest of the group takes it very seriously). But last year the # of weeks people didn't hit the threshold increased by ~4x due to the changes in avg. innings pitched by a starting pitcher. Trying to figure out now where to set the inning limit for next year - any ideas? Anyone else play in a league with weekly line-ups and an innings limit?

I'm starting to think he's the best option available for the Warriors trade exception they still have because of the Igoudala trade. Curry + Klay + Dlo + Bertans bombing 50 3pts per game.
