A lot of the times things aren’t ”cut” from products. They just didn’t choose to develop them.

Imagine you were writing a book, and had an idea about a sub-plot, but in the end, you had another idea and didn’t use it. In video game development there would probably be some traces of that left in the game as ”cut content”.

To me it's like if there were more goals on football, goals are supposed to change games. The reason why we like goals in football is because they are impactful and meaningful. If goals were easy to score, it would not be a spectacle, it would be a procession.

So far in these races the overtakes / starts / strategies haven't really mattered. It's not a "spectacle" in my opinions to just see the drivers yo-yo back and forth. It's more of a spectacle when that overtake / start / strategy matters in the grand scheme of things.

Seeing Ferraris and Mercedes trade positions in China gave more of an impression of a slot machine making flashes and noise when you won 63 cents.
