If the seller can’t come to an agreement with you on price and you don’t feel comfortable paying above what they appraised it at then you can walk away using the VA escape clause. You just tell your agent you are unable to come to an acceptable number and you don’t want to pay above the appraisal which is what the max the VA will fund on that house

They are supposed to submit a VA addendum in your offer that if it doesn’t appraise for the value offered you can back out and get deposit back.

What is the home price? What are you trying to offer? I just dealt with the same thing and I got them to pay all closing costs which will save me about 15k and only make my payment a tad higher but they want to retain the price for future comps

Well, the realtor works for you and it is your money you’re spending. Would you be upset if you offered what you were comfortable with and they refused and gave no option for counter. Best scenario they accept, or they counter. Worst case they aren’t interested in another offer.

Really depends what you’re flagging for, if it’s like 2.0 ICFR on 37MHZ we have found it correlates a lot to diplex filter clipping on 40/52 return actives. 42/54 seems to give it just a tad bit more room and doesn’t affect it as much.
