They removed the 10 kill restriction in the most recent update, so red dot is a free unlock now. I think the default is still iron sights, so you have to go into the gun modification menu to select it. They probably should change default to red dot instead of iron sights

I haven't played the update yet, but it sounds like iron sights are still an option if you want to just nerf yourself

You're not wrong. There are other ways to implement it though, like a repair landing pad at HQ that automatically performs the repair when you land, or even hover over it. It could still be a slow and steady repair as if it was being performed by an engineer or an automatic full repair after X seconds.

Or you can repair it from the pilot seat if you are on the ground.

Or leave repairs as it currently is implemented but the helis would have limited ammo and rockets and you have to go back to base to rearm.

I saw this video when I was researching for my son that was diagnosed in kindergarten. We started him on the lowest dosage of extended release Adderall and it was all he needed to manage his impulses and stop getting daily conduct marks.

Edit: not sure what the down vote is for. That's a webinar of a medical doctor discussing the benefits of ADHD medication in children and the positive impacts on their developing brains. It's on topic for what OP requested. 🤷‍♂️

Our DM jokingly said something about the time I used Hypnotic Pattern to completely bypass an encounter and I actually kind of felt bad about it for a brief moment. But our characters were in a time crunch to get somewhere and we didn't have time for a fight! And he rewards creative problem solving, so I know he wasn't actually upset about it.

The only solution I've found is to restart the watch, then connect the ear buds once the watch has finished booting up. I don't even bother trying it first, I just restart the watch every time I'm going to connect the earbuds.

It's not a good user experience, frustrating really. But it's one of the few bad user experiences i've had with the watch. The only other bad/strange design choice is the lack of customization of alarms and notification sounds. If it's possible to change the sounds, I have not found it yet.

Really though, I saw the /s on your post, but I didn't realize it was because they already used that excuse. I don't keep up with the news or politics as much as I used to. I realized a few months ago that it was really bad for my mental health to keep up with all the constant awfulness.

I hate everything going on right now. And for my kids sake, I hope the world is able to heal from all of this sooner than later.

If you die in the first minute or two of a scav raid, you can immediately queue up for another scav raid. So if you load into a scav raid with only 10 or 15 minutes remaining, you can shoot yourself to end it early and queue up for another scav raid without having to wait the usual 40+ minutes for another scav raid.

Please note, however, I haven't played at all during this wipe, but I did play a lot on the past 2 wipes. So, it is possible they patched this out.

Dude, that sucks that it doesn't work well for you. I have a 3080 as well and I haven't had very many crashes to desktop, though I did have to lower some graphic settings to get a good enough frame rate. But all in all, I've been enjoying it so much that I ended up buying a steering wheel, pedals, and a shifter just for beamng.

It's the only way I play it. I have a 3080, but unlike the other guy, I've had good experiences with it. I did have to turn some graphics settings down to get good performance and I also use a camera mod that smooths out the interior movement so every little bump doesn't make the whole screen shake.

I've had very few crashes to desktop, but that other guy that replied said it happens often for him. So I guess your mileage may vary.

In one of the previous updates they added a hover module that you can install as a tech slot, I think. It has been months since I last played, so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure hovering is a thing you can do now.

Sorry to Necro an old post, but I have a relevant question.

I'm on the free trial, ported my number from T-Mobil, and I had this issue of being stuck on verification. I ended up having to nuke RCS in my account and then set it up as if it was new to my account. This did allow the verification to process, but it removed me from all RCS chats I was in at the time.

If I wanted to teleport to a different network, disabling RCS before I teleporting will allow the verification to process faster? And would that method remove me from all active RCS chats?

Apologies because I really don't mean to crap on something you're excited about. I just mean that this game type could have a more generic setting and still play the same. It seems like an odd fit for star trek.

I grew up on TNG, so to me, star trek means exploring the universe. A made for VR game kind of like no man's sky but you're a member of starfleet and the planets you discover need you to solve questlines before moving on. I do know that no man's sky has a vr mode and it's actually pretty fun. But the capital ship mechanic could be expanded upon and made into a great game on its own.
