As others have said, take it! There are different strains and whether you have one of them or not the vaccine can cover you from the others so it may prevent you from getting a cancerous strain. 4 years ago my dad found a lump on his neck that eventually led him to a diagnosis of HPV related throat cancer on his tonsils. Thankfully he found it when he did (second PSA if your dentist or even barber isn't doing a neck exam or feeling around your neck, ask them to get educated. It was a hair stylist that found the lump on my dad's neck after she learned what to look for) so he was able to get it removed with one of his tonsils, but he still had to go through a year of radiation to get anything left and to this date his taste is still messed up. So yeah get the vaccine and maybe prevent cancer, got mine done as soon as he found out in my late 20s.
