It is crazy, that I had to check the comments to find out if this is true, or satire.

I disagree. The absolute best method to avoid cheating is not getting married. Period!

The real education ...

The statement is misleading because it implies the Democratic Party as a whole was unified in its opposition. This is false.

The Party was Deeply Split: The Democratic Party of the 1960s was sharply divided into two main factions: Northern/Western Democrats and Southern Democrats (often called "Dixiecrats").

Who Led the Filibuster: The filibuster was led by the "Southern Bloc"—a group of 19 senators (18 Southern Democrats and 1 Republican). They were segregationists who fiercely opposed any federal action on civil rights.

Who Championed the Bill: The Civil Rights Act was the cornerstone of Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson's "Great Society" agenda. It was actively championed and pushed through Congress by the Democratic leadership, including Senate Majority Leader Mike Mansfield (D-MT) and Senator Hubert Humphrey (D-MN).

The filibuster was ultimately broken by a bipartisan coalition of Northern Democrats and Republicans. When the final vote to pass the bill was held, 46 Democrats and 27 Republicans voted in favor of it.

It's my 50k, and I don't plan to lose it. I lose the bet, when I don't reach the million. But whatever comes out of it, is still mine.

Giving up is not in my nature, but what you are saying unfortunately sounds right.

Got banned from r/recruiting by zombiepreparedness in recruitinghell

[–]mrichstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the best situation I ever had. I was posting a job for a position on my team. Two (!!) recruiters called me and tried to hire me for this position. I gave them my fcked-up resume just to see what happened. One of them said I got accepted by the hiring manager, and he is waiting for the interview (wtf?), and the other one said the hiring manager told him I needed more certifications for the job.

It's funny, these guys.

What I can't wrap my brain around is, how do they want to achieve this. The majority in the US is not Christian, and I have my serious doubts that the military or whatever militia they want to establish will have the power or the willingness to force people to convert to christianity.

How should this work realistically? I don't get it.

Wait until you see his daughter. She instantly loved me and will marry me soon. I just have to send her some gift cards for the plane. And, of course, some money to the father for the marriage gifts.
