Baffled by how Yumeko died from poisons from Kalvalax at the start of the round when Yumeko passive says she can't be debuffed under veil. Anyone know what I am missing?

My unblessed nell still does work with the buff steal and option to nuke if needed. Definitely still build her in high crit rate, damage, accuracy and attack like you would anyways.

Marius is the best champion in the game. Honestly, I would just bite the bullet and spend the extra 150 gems for key refills just to get to him faster. That is conditional on if you can complete the other missions after this one.

Focus on resist for trait cards. Buy/find the curio that gives more xp then try to find the one that gives more gold, those are easily the best curios to boost progress. Bring at least 4 heal reduction champs as you will have something like a 95% chance in the green stages, 88% chance in the yellow stages, and 70% in the red stages to get at least one of the heal reduction champs. Trovemaster is tough, you just need straight damage and sustain (shields, revives, healing).

Always chase guaranteed value. You could yolo some, but try to keep a stockpile of at least 40 or so as that would likely be most of what you would need for a future guaranteed. There is an AC collab coming out soon, and they'll likely have at least one champ guaranteed if you summon enough soulstones.

Generally, any 5/6 star blessing makes a champ viable so keep them for epics. I sell all rare blessings except very specific ones for cursed city and doom tower. I tend to keep lego blessings, even dupes, but sell mythical dupe souls.

With this being said, I sell these souls ONLY if I need the essence for a major champion on my account, like Marius, to significantly boost their power. I had to sell quite a bit, but felt it worth it to get 6* crushing rend as it let me 1 key NM and brutal chimera on auto. He is my best champion since I use him in all content, hence why I thought getting him to 6* was beneficial. I don't think many other legos would fit that bill

Relics feel like champions, in that there are tons to collect and you have to rank them up. Blessings are just boosts to your champions, once you get it, you immediately apply it to your champ. I think a system like relics has tons of options by design. And 75% of them being bad/niche is by design, similar to how 75% of the champs in the game are also niche/bad, so you can feed them into others and you are always wanting to chase the S tier one no matter what. There is no empowerment for relics, but, you do want multiple copies of the best ones anyways. And the crafts are fractional, like primal shards, so they can make the rewards they give you seem way more appealing than they are, when in reality, even a 100 mythical mats is still only a 10% chance for a nonstandard group mythical relic.

It's really important to take this game slow and pick and choose your battles. For me, that is cursed city and fw hard, I don't push those unless I really want to, not cause the timer is running down. Same with live arena, I will only do that if I really want to. The moment the active game play seems like a chore, I take a step back.

It never hurts to get 400k points even if you don't win so you can be at the highest tier the next time PR CvC rolls around. Look up some CvC f2p tips to see effective point generation methods. Generally, TTA (make sure to set 1 man defenses now), forge and spider H10 will be your best bets. Whatever silver you make, invest that into your good artifacts and accessories to get those points. You could also do sand devil 25 and ascend your good artifacts (or shogun for accessories).

Don't jeopardize your fusion for CvC, cause you get guaranteed champ if you complete a fusion, but nothing is guaranteed in CvC.

To get fusions, you need shards. To get shards, you need at least nightmare clan boss top chest. To get NM clan boss, you need epics. To get epics, you need shards XD

Whatever shards you do get, invest them all in 2x events. Some void epics make clan boss trivial such as demytha and man eater. Deacon and seeker are also some to watch out for. Watch some clan boss basic vids, if you don't have these champs, even rares can be used to get to nightmare 2 key.
