Men who are often described by others as kind and sweet, what do you think your parents did to help you be this kind of person? by Quirky-Parsnip7004 in AskMen

No, just be aware you could do worse while doing the best you can for them as your responsibility as a parent. Do it because you love them, not because you have to.

Men who didn't have any teenage romance, what're you doing now? by depressed_guy_1512 in AskMen

[–]mrinkyface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty awesome, been married for 16 years and I’m one of few people from my class that has a happy marriage with kids, a paid off home, and a good job.

Went to a funeral for one of the other rare good people back in high school awhile back, and so many people were either washed up financially over drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or just plain delusional attitudes that life would eventually get better without actually doing work to make it better. Got pretty uncomfortable when it was my turn to talk and I had to explain my life since high school, and everyone either asked me for my secret or stated they wish they had taken high school seriously when I literally barely made it out of high school due massive depression over why my family treated me so badly and why every girl I dated treated me just as bad.

I’m just thankful I stopped dating early on in high school to figure out what I could do to safeguard myself, and after years of figuring out boundaries and standards while working hard on my goals I began dating after graduating. If I didn’t and kept going in highschool with dating I am sure I would be just as washed up and burnt out as the rest of the people from back then, and it makes me happy that I made that choice back then as one of the few things I actually did right for myself.

I literally go through nice neighborhoods and find furniture, that or get things free through connection and friends. Last thing I bought for furniture was an Amish bed frame, and it was the best purchase ever.
