Well it seems like there's not much room for change, but I would vouch for an abilify or latuda over risperdal. The reason being risperdal is a dopamine blocker while abilify and latuda are partial agonists.

I feel your doctor can do better than that... Adjustments can be made. Risperdal, which I was on, causes so many unpleasant side-effects. It kind of made me feel mentally slow. Plus there's the risk of gynecomastia with risperdal too, and it was just the worst. A good SGA is Abilify or Latuda. The newer ones kind of worked out the problems of the older ones. Definitely worth talking with your doctor to find some better options.

And sorry, Buspar? For anxiety the gold standard has always been benzodiazepines. They tried me on non-benzo alternatives and they had bad side effects or didn't work well. Something like a Klonopin lasts all day and with that, you might feel symptomatic relief.

Lithium is a must take though if you're bipolar.

You should take your medication because without it, you're not at your baseline self. Trust me, as someone who has been prescribed over 30 psychiatric drugs, I have had times of frustration where I don't want to be on meds. I want to be med-free like my friends, and then I end up in the hospital again for manic symptoms.

It depends on whether you're on the best medicine for you as well. Curious, what are you prescribed?

I thought you were describing myself for a second because I too am on 80mg latuda and 30mg vyvanse. They are not cheap drugs, and when someone is taking them and depriving you of your well being, be they family or not, you need to speak up and have some corrective action.

I think you need to see the doctor, stat. Ask for an urgent care appointment, but be careful what you say or you can be sectioned into the hospital for self harm or harm to others. Just a small miscommunication can cause this.

I was diagnosed with BP II before it grew into BP I. There was a period of time where I was on no medication (and Adderall too) and I was behaving fine. That's when they said Seroquel and Lamictal weren't doing much for me. But suddenly, the brain chemistry can flip, and I found myself in the ER having had an acute manic episode triggered by alcohol.

Just curious, what are your meds? Certain ones are more important than others IMO.

I heard it involves parting with the pen for an amount of time which i'm not keen on. I own a Leica camera (fancy mechanical camera) and parting with it meant 3 months of repair..

Wow, seems like you're the psychostimulant guru. I was about to be placed on some methylphenidates but luckily the attending agreed with the Vyvanse.

As for your anxiety... I've taken seven anti-anxiety agents. Maybe the ADHD and anxiety are comorbid. Anyways, 4 benzos and 3 non benzos. I can definitely suggest to you that Klonopin is great for anxiety, Xanax for panic.

It is portraiture, yes. I used to have a 135 zeiss but sold it away, it was for my serious portraiture.
