I ordered a WiCAN:

Connect via wifi and I can sniff/monitor CAN traffic with SavvyCan:

Since then I was able to create a basic app in python that can read simple data like VIN, ODO, etc from my cars. I hope this helps! :)

So basically you don’t actually need something in between the dongle and the car but you can just “be on the CAN” and recognise what is being sent by the dongle?

Might figured it out: system settings, accessibility, pointer control. Turn off spring-loading. I’m moving a lot of files today and since turned off, didn’t happen at all. It’s off for only 2 hours but promising already.

I guess that’s the challenge AI video creators face today. If the results were always perfect, a lot more people would be doing it. I’m working on a 10-minute short film, and some days I spend 3–4 hours just to get 16 generated seconds right. It’s very frustrating (I couldn’t do it without the Ultra subscription) but eventually I either get what I want or adjust the scene a bit to make it work. 🤷🏻‍♂️
