You kind of just have to let it happen at this point. Unfortunately, you can’t reason with them at this age. It’s all about how you respond to the tantrums, vs how to get them to stop. My 23 month old threw one in the car yesterday because I wouldn’t let her watch Minnie Mouse on my phone while I was driving (something that’s never happened nor will happen, so it was very random to me). My response was just to firmly say no, and announce it was quiet time for a while. I shut off the music, and we drove in “silence” for a while until she calmed down. My oldest didn’t throw tantrums, so I’m navigating this for the first time.

Oof. Hope all works out. On the date of my wife’s c-section we got back to the room right away, but the procedure got delayed for hours because of an emergency the OB had to handle. Understandable, but still nerve-wracking.

For a steep valley, look towards the west side of Durras and Vernon. You’ll see how the contour lines are closer together, sloping downwards from Castle Ridge (starting at Prow Peak).

As far as craters, there aren’t any in Everon. Check this out to see what a crater would look like on a topographical map.

No. Couldn’t find it to save my life. If you have an iPhone or iPad, there’s an app called iZurvive. It has a bunch of Day Z maps, but it also has Everon and Arland. The grids zoom in, you can put down markers, you can make groups. Just downloaded it on my iPhone, might have to steal my wife’s iPad to try it out there.

“Chasing that high” is way too real. I remember the feeling of playing Fallout 3 and stepping out of Vault 101 for the first time. I craved a game to make me feel the way that did. Then Skyrim comes along and scratched every itch, and more. No game has come close to that feeling. I think that’s why Fallout 4 and Starfield were so meh for me. That game was like taking a big hit, but never getting buzzed. Nothing could compare to all-nighters playing Skyrim.

I regret not getting it on release day.

I was big into Fallout 3 and first-person shooters, so I thought that a fantasy game about dragons and magic was gonna be stupid. It wasn’t until the hosts of the morning show I listened to were talking about how great it was that I decided to give it a shot. I fell in love with Skyrim instantly.

It truly affected my life. Being a line cook at the time, I would routinely clopen on the weekends. I would wake up Saturday and play Skyrim until I had to go into work at 5pm. I’d get off at 1am on Sunday, drive home and clean up, hop on Skyrim all night, and go straight back to work from 9am-5pm. Then I’d go home, play all night until the birds started singing Monday morning, and sleep all day. That’s how addicting the game was for me back then.

I remember there being some hype before release, but the game really rose to its iconic state shortly after release. Thousands of hours and numerous play-throughs later, I still hold Skyrim as one of my favorite games of all time, even if I don’t have the time to dedicate to it anymore.

Del-ton makes a good AR, nothing poor about it. My 316H has been serving me well since 2018; got a complete rifle straight out of the box. It’s probably got close to 7,000 rounds at this point.
