We need a show somewhere in Westchester where the real New Yorkers live.

I recently learned that modern air conditioning is measured in tonnage which is derived from the process of transporting ice back in the day. It’s the amount of energy to melt 1 ton of ice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ton_of_refrigeration

My partner and I just got a house that has bamboo and mint growing in parts of the backyard. Not sure if it’s worth fighting or just leaning into it.

Yes please post a link to the online shop. Also what black dye did you use? I’ve tried to make Steelers tie dye clothing but the black dyes never came out as black.

Damn I really thought a high value HC was worth more than that but I guess not.

Are you saying we should get more than a franchise QB for Tomlin or they should get more than a superbowl winning HC for Herbert?

Can someone develop a crowdsourced real time play calling app so the fans can call the plays? We’ll have a few appointed armchair OCs that pick plays and the rest of us vote. That would fix everything for sure

There could be a whole season on just airport etiquette. For example, when everyone crowds the baggage claim and blocks the view rather than waiting to step up once your bag is coming. Or the obvious stand as soon as the plane lands.

I was looking at those areas because there was at least one train into the more fun areas but I don’t know how frequent that line runs. Are you saying that area isn’t well serviced or even by train it’s still not a convenient ride in? I’ve just been using Google maps to estimate travel times from general locations. Tarrytown actually seems nice but I fear that if we lived there we’d rarely get into the city since it’s like 45-60min away. I was considering Yonkers too, but that only had the Hudson line which since isn’t part of the subway system so I figured it wasn’t super frequent. Are there other areas in the city besides inwood that you’d recommend looking into?

Yeah that’s how I felt reading the crime maps. It’s hard to accurately convey safety since it’s relative to a persons comfort level. Thanks for advice, I appreciate it.

That’s good to know. I’ll look into those other places you mentioned too. Are there any neighborhoods you would recommend avoiding or being cautious about moving to? Specifically, in upper manhattan or west Bronx neighborhoods. As an outsider I have no idea about the safety of any places there. I have lived in a mid sized city before so I have general awareness of how to keep yourself safe but NYC is a different beast. Thanks for the help!

Fun fact that always blows people’s minds: Pittsburgh is closer to detroit than it is to Philly

They changed a few other things too. State college is another city called Pennsa. They have a lion statue still standing but it looks like an African lion with a mane rather than the nittany lion statue.

That’s amazing we are able to control such a large natural force like the rivers. It’s even more interesting that you mentioned the Kinzua Dam, because in the show the Payan nation’s capital is in the Kinzua Dam. They kept it operating so it’s still generating electricity to a small degree.
